Services offeredRWK has various data bases at her disposition. Reference can be made either to companies of the chamber region or to companies of the Czech Republic. RWK may find the respective companies from those data bases according to their lines of business (manufacturer, supplier, processor, trading company etc.). According to the agreement made, the foreign company may either get only the contact addresses or the profile of the Czech company or a verified list of addresses.
Advertising space in the newspaper (weekly) Západoceské Noviny (Western Bohemian newspaper). This newspaper has a circulation of 120000 pcs and it is sold in eight districts of Western Bohemia. This space is particularly reserved for foreign companies looking for cooperation. It comprises in the main offers for paid labour, mounting work, completion or joint venture foundations. Moreover, this space offers the advantage that only those interested parties will contact the foreign company who are both interested in a cooperation and have the required capacity. The offers are also broadcasted in the regional transmitter Evropa 2-Diana.
With regard to contact mediation RWK works on a further special data base that includes offers of Czech companies or craftsmen who are looking for every kind of cooperation with foreign companies.
Certificates of origin, Carnets ATA:
For Czech exporters RWK will establish certificates of origin. RWK will make out Certificates of Origin for the intermediate free-of-charge importation into the foreign country by RWK Carnets ATA (in this case the goods are determined for exhibitions or presentations)
Trade papers and technical publications, special forms and vouchers:
RWK sells special forms and vouchers for the customs clearance of goods as well as trade papers and technical publications in German, Czech and English language.
Interpreter service:
RWK offers the service of interpreters to German companies, i.e. for meetings with Czech companies or they accompany German companies during their visits to contacts in the Czech republic. Such meetings may, of course, be held also in the RWK building upon request.
Professional seminars and training:
RWK carries out professional seminars and training workshops for companies in the fields of importation/exportation, customs clearance of goods etc. These workshops can be held in German language upon request.
Meeting of employers:
For two years already RWK has organized meetings for German and Czech companies for certain lines of production. Up to now the following branches have participated: metal processing, wood manufacturing, textile and ready-made industry.
Info service on customs regulations:
According to an agreement and based on the good cooperation with the ambassy and the consulate of the Czech Republic RWK is known as information centre for German companies with regard to customs regulations and customs clearance of goods.
Cooperation of the regional chambers:
In order to support the development of the Egerland region, all RWKs of this region cooperate in a very close way. This cooperation is also supported by a partnership project between RWK and the chamber of industry and commerce IHK Bayreuth.
Chamber magazine Ekonomický Zpravodaj Poohrí - Economy in the Egerland region:
Together with the chamber of commerce and industry IHK Bayreuth RWK is the editor of this magazine. The companies and craftsmen are so informed on all actual subjects. Moreover, the companies may present themselves in this review and place advertisements there.
More detailed information is available from RWK Sokolov either by phone or in a personal meeting. Due to the voluntary membership with the economy chambers of the Czech Republic, RWK is forced to charge fees for her services.
