The East-West Competence Centre erected in Marktredwitz in 2000/2001 is an institution for the international economic exchange, especially with the new EC member Czech Republic (May 2004) The companies of the East-West Competence Centre offer frontier-crossing services particularly in the fields of legal advice, tax law, management consulting, marketing, finances, interpreter service, media PR, real estate management, sale of automotive accessories, facility management as well as project management. This special mixture and the common interest in German-Czech economic exchange offer precious synergies for the interested companies. The East-West Competence Centre Partner for those who are looking for international success The Czech Republic is the most important trade partner of Bavaria. With her EC entry the importance of the Czech Republik and of the MOE states will even increase. The more important is it to make a centre available at the very interface with those trade partners that meets the demands and the dynamic economic forces of all participant countries as a competent contact partner. That is why the East-West Competence Centre offers the chance to all interested parties in Germany and the Czech Republic to make use of the frontier-crossing relations in the future extended European Community. The East-West Competence Centre Bridge to a new Europe Also in times of virtual market places or even completely virtual companies personal contacts and the real presence of people are irreplaceable. Traffic ways, other infrastructural measures and last but not least historical relations play an important role in this connection. It was not by chance that the East-West Competence Centre of Marktredwitz has been created. After the opening of the frontiers the traditionally close connections to the Czech Republic could finally be reanimated. The EUREGIO-EGRENSIS as frontier-crossing institution in the German-Czech area, who has its company seat in Marktredwitz together with the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bayern e.V.", has done excellent work for this.
