Media room

The media room in the East-West Competence Centre has a size of 70 qm and is suited for a maximum of 50 participants (only seats) respectively 30 participants (with tables). It may be used as conference room, training room or meeting room. It is equipped with the most up-to-date media technics:
  • Conference system with delegate phone station, interpreter function, transmission to PA systems and wireless transmission systems as well as a control function for the automatic approach of video cameras (participant-directed)
  • Interpreter system to complete the conference and discussion system for a total of 3 foreign languages including head sets with infrared receivers and one
  • Infrared PA system (public address system) for wireless transmission of the room and of the foreign languages
  • Projection surfaces: electromotive screen with a width of about 2,00 m
  • Video/Projection technics:
         LCD-Data video projector
         S-VHS video recorder
         DVD player, CD player, radio, TV, double cassette recorder
         Visualizer (camera for documents)
         Overhead projector
  • Media control via touch screen
  • Dimming system
      

In front of the media room is an entrance hall of about 34 qm that may also be used in case of events.

Foyer

The foyer is the entrance area of the East-West Competence Centre and has with its size of about 133 qm a capacity of appr. 120 people.
Annexed is a room of appr. 25 qm to be used for catering etc.
In the foyer a centrally fixed beamer unit and an electromotive screen of a projection width of about 2,00 m are available, so that data for presentations in the foyer but also in the media room may be transmitted. The foyer in the East-West Competence Centre is particularly suited for lectures, exhibitions or receptions.

      

Community forum

In the East-West Competence Centre a community forum of about 36 qm is available that may also be used as exhibition surface and allows to transmit data from the media room via a large-screen plasma TV into this area.
